Do not book through Viator! I booked through the website. There is a tiny safety icon that no one clicks on. I booked two tickets for the 11:15. I received confirmation of my $412 payment along with information that masks are mandated and they needed to change my time to 1:20😳😳😳 With asthma I can’t wear a mask. Customer service is rude and it’s so loud you cannot hear them. NO REFUNDS, NO DATE CHANGES. Antelope Canyon is in Navajo Nation and that is their rule which I respect but Viator website tricked me. Our Navajo tour guide was amazing and we had a great time. It is really a short tour of a 600 foot amazing rock formation. You are really walking through it slowly and taking picture after picture. Please call around and book through the Navajo nation directly. Let them keep all of the money and not some sneaky rude outsider. I was happy I went but I would never have to go again. That’s how I would explain it.

Dear Kimberly, Sorry about your feelings. Here as the operated on Viator we explained to you regarding your concerns by email messages already. The system does not have a real-time inventory control system. When you booked 11:15am tour, it is just sold to other guests. Then we sent email to you asking if you accept 1:20pm tour. Then you agreed. We confirmed 1:20pm tour for you and clicked the confirm button for you. The confirm button intiated with origianl time informaiton which might have confused you. But we sent information in the reminder that "please ignore it". As for the mask requirement, the mask policy is stated on product page clearly. It is not only to you but to all of the customers who will visit the canyon. The operator was strict with mask policy (guets can only remove the mask when taking pictures of themselves). No double standards and no slack in reinforcing the rule. Antelope Canyon belongs to the Navajo Nation, which is a sovereign state - their President is not the POTUS so usual rules/laws that apply in the US doesn’t apply to their land. During the covid pandemic, the Navajo Nation was badly affected with the world’s highest infection rates at one point of time. Navajo Nation does not have readily accessible water and medical amenities so covid hit them hard. Their President allowed the re-opening of businesses with the condition that masks are worn.

Beautiful. Lori, our guide, was informative and kind. She showed us photo ops. She was fantastic. On the location, you should tell ur customers that the pickup point is 1/4 mi south of mile marker 299 on highway 98, not ‘at’ marker 299. Very confusing.

Upper antelope canyon is an incredible place but do not use this agency. I could have gotten a non prime time trough one of the Navajo tour companies (at a reasonable price) but wanted to to go at 11:40 time slot and only viator offered this time. I ordered (even though it was expensive) since this was a once in lifetime experience. The day before the tour, I found from the tour operator this time was not available. One day prior, my chances of getting a none prime time with the Navajo tour companies was also gone. I ended up paying top money with viator for a non prime time. I also spend a lot of time going back and forth btw the tour operator and viator, the day before the tour. Viator did nothing to decrease my cost since I ended paying much more than what I needed to.

Dear Alina, as we mentioned in the email, we processed the booking based on your email response. At the beginning we informed you that we do not have prime time available and asked if you agreed to take 1:20pm tour. You agreed and then we confirmed this time for you. We clicked confirm button for you first as the tour date is close. The system then sent you the auto-generated information with the original time option which is not updated. We explained this to you already. Here we hope fo your understanding again. Thanks.
