Excellent experience! Great guide and overall tour! Large surcharge by Viator versus tickets at the gate, but guarantees tour.

First we were informed to be there 1 hour before the trip start time and when we checked in the employee told us “ be under the shade 10 min before the start time” 🤦🏻‍♂️ Then literally half an hour of the “ 1 hour and a 1/2 tour” is going an coming back between the meeting point and start point! The tour guide is kind of rude honestly for many reasons! The canyon is VERY SHORT that takes barely 15 min if u just walk it without stopping which makes you wonder if it really worth spending almost 200$ on such a tour where they don’t allow u to take a single picture without mask even if you are not surrounded by people for that 10 seconds picture! Super honest; The canyon is overrated especially if you plan to do it during winter months because you will never see these beams of light you see in the pictures!

Thanks for your feedback. Firstly, we sent reminder that requests visitors to be there earlier as previously many guests got late due to the time zone changes. Be there in time will not result in entry denial. Secondly, the tour is 1.5 Hours Roundtrip (Includes shuttle time from parking lot to/from canyon site). Thirdly, to wear a mask is a common rule on Navajo Nation which is stated on the tour page and also in the reminder we sent to you when the booking was confirmed. The rule is to every person who visit there. Hope for your understanding. The light beams around noon time depend on weather conditions as well as seasons. The natural phenomenon cannot be guaranteed.
