My husband and I just finished this 1/2 day white water rafting adventure, and it was a blast. Our guide Shaun was knowledgeable and went out of his way to ensure we were able to experience the river to the fullest. One warning, be prepared for sudden rain and the accompanying drop in temperature as the weather in Colorado tends to change rapidly. Our trip went from warm and sunny to wet and chilly quickly. Fortunately, AVA provided wet suits and splash jackets that helped keep things a bit warmer. They also have a gift shop that features complementary coffee and sells a variety of clothing and essentials (sunscreen, glasses straps, water socks, etc.) in case you forgot something. Be sure to check out their other adventure opportunities as well. We also did the zip lining course, which was equally enjoyable.
