As senior novices to whitewater rafting we wanted a beginner level tour that would introduce us to the activity as well as give us a view of the countryside from the water. Downstream was the perfect choice! Ryan checked us in promptly and our guide Johnny was superb! Both were patient and took the time to clearly explain safety procedures then made sure we were equipped properly. Our 5+ mile journey on the Colorado River with mostly class 2 and a couple of class 3 rapids was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. Johnny (nickname is Dangerous!) regaled us with stories of his life and kept us safe and laughing through the trip. We HIGHLY recommend the company and Johnny as a guide - we're ready for our next whitewater adventure.
