Upper Klamath 1 Day

Overview

The BEST in the west. Throughout this 14 mile stretch of river on the Upper Klamath, guests will experience class I-IV+ whitewater rapids. This trip departs Ashland once a day, seven days a week, when four or more river enthusiasts are ready to go. Guests leave the Ashland area by 8:00 a.m. and return approximately by 5:30 p.m. Private groups and different time schedules can be easily arranged with advance notice. Special family and group rates are also available for your Upper Klamath rafting adventure.

My husband, daughters and husbands did this trip together and it was a blast! Our guides Ryan and Brian were topnotch professionals who not only did a fabulous job keeping us safe by training us what to do but also taught us the history and natural history of the river, It was a memorable day spent working together and laughing. We had a blast! We took my 13 and 11 year old girls - they loved the class four rapids. Our guide Ryan was wonderful. He was very careful, making sure our kids (especially the young one) didn’t fall out. The river was awesome - in the middle of nowhere, so you never heard a car. We saw bald eagles, otters and turtles. Some of the best whitewater I have rafted - I would definitely do this in the next year before they remove the dams and it becomes unraftable.
