We had originally booked the lower pigeon river rafting tour because it was our first time and we were scaredy cats, lol. But after checking in, we were told that the lower river was currently flat like a lake and since our children were older, we may enjoy the upper river tour more. We decided to upgrade and it was perfect!! Definitely the right choice for our family and not scary at all! Our guide, Anna, was amazing and totally respectful of how crazy we wanted (or didn’t want) to get with the rapids. We all had a fantastic time and will definitely be rafting again in the future! Everything about River Rat was great- the price, the facility (clean bathrooms, showers and changing spaces), the guides, the equipment. Totally recommend! 5 stars!
