We chose River Rat after reading a lot of reviews online and they were right. The place was clean, well maintained, and the staff was very friendly. We were all a little nervous about going rafting but our daughter was very nervous. Our guide Wes did a great job of joking around with her to make her feel comfortable and his professionalism made us all feel safe. We all agree this rafting trip was the best part of our vacation and my daughter even said it was the most fun she has had on any vacation. From beginning to end we had a great experience and we would highly recommend Wes.

We took the upper pigeon river raft trip. Our guide was Polly. She was unbelievable. Great guide, super strong for her little stature. There was a portion of the river where you can jump in and swim along side the boat down river but I forgot that I had to get back in the boat. No worries, Polly grabbed my shoulder straps on my PFD and slung me into the boat with no struggle at 270lbs. I’m not kidding you. Make eye contact after the rescue and your heart won’t handle it. Lol. Our family had a great experience with bull riding rapids with my daughter up front on the boat. Polly was a great guide and I would ask for her next time when we return. River rats was a organized and clean company and there is a food truck in the lot in case your hungry. We will definitely return. Thanks a gain Polly for your leadership and skill to handle a bunch of amateur.

Very well organized. We had lots of communication before our arrival. All of the guides were very professional. Some members of our group were nervous, but our guide Benji put everyone at ease. It exceeded everyone’s expectations
