Awesome trip. Great guide- Reuben was an awesome guide and was fantastic. Highly recommend him. Very good trip. Very fun. Great with our somewhat scared 8 yr. old daughter.

We had two families of 4 that got an 8 person raft for the Upper Whitewater Rafting. The 4 kids ranged in ages from 11 to 15, and none of them had done any whitewater rafting before. The Upper River Whitewater was the highlight of our trip. The kids had a blast...and so did the adults. We had Little Joe as our guide and he was great to interact with during the trip. The rafting is exciting enough for teens to have a good time, but they aren't difficult enough that you should be concerned about your children - it was perfect for our group of 8. I would highly recommend, and it has now made all of us want to go whitewater rafting again. Definitely follow the directions given by Rafting in the Smokies and don't use Waze. We followed their directions going to rafting - very easy. We followed Waze to go back to our cabin - lots of two lane winding roads that seemed like it took twice as long to return.

Our guide Van was absolutely amazing!! We did the extreme white water rafting. He was very experienced and knew exactly how to hit the rapids for an amazing experience. Highly recommend river rats company and Van as your guide! We will be soon.
