The Uptown Eats! Trolley Tour with Food Tours of America is a foodie lovers favorite with over ten different food tastings in three sit down restaurants, including a sweet dessert treat. Opt-into signature alcohol pairings, mocktails, or an Osadia Tequila flight experience from Texas’ best. In between tastings, we’ll visit the McKinney Avenue Trolley “Car Barn” for a VIP behind the scenes tour where Dallas’ original trolleys are restored and maintained. We’ll take insta-worthy photos, meet a trolley conductor, then hop on a vintage trolley for a ride to the West Village Shopping District! This is our original tour, established in 2012, and every tour supports our local trolleys with a donation.

Please note: This is an active urban neighborhood. Please be aware of traffic as well as uneven sidewalks and streets.
The age and varying design of the historic MATA trolley cars can create accessibility challenges for some passengers and require a few steep steps to enter and exit the trolley car.

Listen. If you’re reading this review to decide whether or not you want to take this tour…stop reading, book the tour, then come back and finish reading my review. Because you don’t want your day/time to sell out! This was THE best way to spend a Sunday afternoon in Dallas. I liked the size of our group, the opportunity to try several local restaurants I never would’ve known about, and riding the Trolley. The food was great, more than enough, a full meal. But in addition to the restaurant stops, our guide took us by a few places like Warren Park, Mutts, and the Trolley garage. It was a constant flow of food, fun, and surprises. The tour ends at a rooftop bar overlooking Dallas. Stunning views and an awesome place to wind down. Our guide was full of info and energy, he was great!

This was not our first food tour, but definitely the best so far. The guide went above and beyond. The food was delicious and plenty of it. The pace of the experience perfect. Highly recommended.

This was my first time to Dallas and I have never done a food tour before. I didn’t know what to expect. This was way better than I could have imagined! We visited an eclectic mix of restaurants and had a great mix of food and cocktails. By the time I got the end, I was stuffed. We met a great bunch of people on the tour and one had a saxophone and upon request he played a couple of tunes for us. The historic trolley ride was icing on the cake. I would recommend to everyone.
