The Uptown Eats! Trolley Tour with Food Tours of America is a foodie lovers favorite with over ten different food tastings in three sit down restaurants, including a sweet dessert treat. Opt-into signature alcohol pairings, mocktails, or an Osadia Tequila flight experience from Texas’ best. In between tastings, we’ll visit the McKinney Avenue Trolley “Car Barn” for a VIP behind the scenes tour where Dallas’ original trolleys are restored and maintained. We’ll take insta-worthy photos, meet a trolley conductor, then hop on a vintage trolley for a ride to the West Village Shopping District! This is our original tour, established in 2012, and every tour supports our local trolleys with a donation.

Please note: This is an active urban neighborhood. Please be aware of traffic as well as uneven sidewalks and streets.
The age and varying design of the historic MATA trolley cars can create accessibility challenges for some passengers and require a few steep steps to enter and exit the trolley car.

What a great way to explore and taste Dallas!! This was one of our last activities in Dallas and this was a highlight. Jim was a fabulous tour guide, lots of enthusiasm and local knowledge added an extra dimension to the tour. The trolley ride was a beautiful way to see the sites and Jim's commentary about the local buildings and their history. The food locations were interesting and delicious. Our boys (7&10) loved the food that we tried. On our last day in Dallas (and the US) we headed back to The Rustic for a farewell lunch. Again the food was spot on. This was a great tour for families and Jim really engaged with our kids. I definitely recommend this tour for the experience and great value for money.

This tour was amazing. Our tour guide, Jim, was very knowledgeable and kept everyone on track safely moving throughout the city. Not only did we stop at four different restaurants, but we also heard about the local neighborhoods, some civic history, and other popular things/places going on in the areas we passed through. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone. This tour needs to set up in more cities!
