Our guide Josh was very good, friendly and informative. He communicated well about the tour and showed a good time. However, we had a bad experience that cost $2000. The drive is extremely dusty, and clouds of dirt are created by the caravan of cars. One of the 4 cars in our party, of 8 in the caravan, entered a cloud of dust on a turn and braked and turned, causing the ATV to turn on its side. Fortunately no one was badly hurt, an 8 year old in the passenger seat got a few cuts. The ATV was turned up by others in our party and some kind people in the caravan. The guide was at the front of the cars so was unaware of the problem. Other tours we have done have a guide in front and one in back to insure safety. There was no visible damage to vehicle but the owner of the company insisted maintenance was needed after the incident so charged us $2000. We learned that this was the 3rd time in a month that it overturned. Coincidence? Or was this vehicle a problem? One would think after several thousand dollars of penalties the problem would not persist. We also question the amount for the "maintenance" needed. Additionally, I was at the back of the caravan to go slowly as I have back issues. We asked ahead if there was bumpy areas and assured not to worry. While the guide did wait for us at the end of various stops, there was an area of extreme moguls that was painful and slow going for us. Be aware if you do not want a rough ride. The garden blower to get the dust and dirt of of us at the end of the tour was helpful (and funny- massive clouds of dirt coming off us) One of us had lung issues and fortunately had a bandana to put over her mouth for the tour. We all were blowing out dirt for the rest of the day. Beautiful views, lots of fun, but be aware of the safety issues and the possibility of severe penalties.

Hi Gary, we have done 500 tours this summer. We have had 3 accidents. That is below 1%. We do not drive you. You drive and you are responsible for what happens. You turned the machine over due to your reckless driving. We also mention to leave a large gap so you never have to deal with dust. Again you decided to get close to the person ahead of you, in fact so close that you caused an accident. We are so happy no one got hurt thanks to all of our safety gear and seatbelt system and roll cage. We have never had any issues. You want to blame us for your mistakes then that is fine. Also you claim there was no damage when the whole roof and side of the machine are totaled (all plastic pieces are broken). We also inform all of our guests that there is a 2000 dollar charge if you flip a machine. We have done so to cover damages and to stop people from driving recklessly. I am sorry you decided to blame us for your reckless driving but I am glad we made sure no one got hurt when you did.

Our family had a blast! The view from the top of Sawtelle Peak was spectacular. We got caught in a rain storm so we were quite cold. BRING GLOVES!

Josh was our guide and we had a great trip exploring the West Yellowstone area on the trails. I loved Josh and we got some great tips for fishing and things to do in the area. The ride on the UTVs is exceptional for trails coming from someone that has never ridden or driven one. I want to buy one now and it made me want to go for the whole day. We mainly went with a guide because we weren't familiar with the trails and Josh did a great job with getting us point A-B-C. But I will say that I had a little bit more expectation from a "guided" tour. I expected a little more history and knowledge on the area such as Johnny Sack's Cabin and at the top of Sawtelle peak and maybe history of the area. Maybe this is different guide to guide, but we did not get that level of a guided tour. All in all it was great and I would recommend to anyone who has an adventurous heart and wants to sightsee some of the best sights in West Yellowstone!
