Gorgeous setting, we decided to pop in and booked onto next tour. Staff were supremely friendly and helpful. You get a tutorial and then a lesson before setting off. TJ was great and we would definitely repeat if ever back in Vail. Totally recommend!

Great tour for seeing such a beautiful area. Arrived and our friendly guide JC met us in the lobby Evergreen Hotel. Park free in summer at the Lions Head public parking and walk past the hockey rink and there is a path up the hill to the hotel. We watched a seven minute video on how to mount and operate the Segway. We next proceeded to an outdoor area and practiced how to use the vehicle. JC was very good in his teaching. Out on the road through the town, to Ford park and Gore trail. JC was great with breaks and provided information at each stop. Highly recommend and a different way to tour the area.

Training was very good and thorough. Trail was really interesting and we saw a big chunk of Vail that we hadn't seen before. We had long riding time between each stops. Enjoyed riding through the village. Just a minor negative was that our leader had open toe sandals. Not the best role model if you are segwaying with children. Other than that we would do it again.

Hi there scaledagile, thanks for the review and for the constructive feedback! We are constantly striving to ensure that our guests have the best possible experience, and we welcome your valuable feedback. While we do recommend that guests wear closed-toed shoes for their own personal safety, it is not a requirement from us or the manufacturer. It is not unheard of for a guest to arrive wearing some kind of open-toe shoe or sandal, and this does not preclude them from participating in the tour. As a new rider gains more experience, the risk of injury from wearing such footwear decreases dramatically. We will certainly take your feedback under advisement and consider for future operations. Thanks again for coming on our tour, we're glad you had such a good time! :) Next time you're in town, come check out our New Avon Tour, it's going to be tons of fun!
