Vail Segway Tour from Vail Village

Overview

After meeting your guide at one of three departure times, you will have a brief but thorough training session where you will learn the basics of how to ride the Segway before heading out on the tour. Your small group will then take a fun and easy scenic tour of Vail Valley, Vail Golf Course, and Vail Village. There will be plenty of stops for photos and interesting information from your guide along the way. After cruising the beautiful mountain paths for 90 minutes, your group will return charged and ready for your next adventure. Drug or Alcohol use prior to tour strictly prohibited.

Great way to Start your week learning about Vail. Spencer was a great tour guide taking us to lots of places on my must see list like the Gerald and Betty Ford areas, While teaching us the history of the area. Spencer was very knowledgeable about geological aspects of the area as well. Jim and I did the first tour of the day we were the only ones on the tour. The segues easy to maneuver after 15 minute lesson. It was a great way to spend two hours before going to the farmers market in Vail

hetWent on a great tour of Vail with two friends visiting from out of town.I am a long time local resident and have never done Segway tour before.I have done Segway Tours in other places but this was very enjoyable in that the setting was magnificent and there essentially was no traffic to deal with.We began the tour after watching a safety film and then practicing in a parking lot which included safely getting on and off the Segway, turning and doing a small slalom course.We also learned how to make an emergency stop. After our leaders were satisfied that we were safe, we were off.We left from the Evergreen Hotel and went nearly to East Vail by way of Gold Peak and the Vail Golf course.We went along the bike trail that runs parallel to Gore Creek.It was a beautiful day and my friends who have been on a number of Segway tours said this was the best one they had encountered. I would highly recommend this to experience some of the environs of Vail that most people don't experience on foot. Very fun and safe.

This tour was so much fun! Seth and Spencer (brothers) were great at making us comfortable on the Segways, and we were the only two on this tour, so that was a nice surprise. I’m sure they had their doubts about us...we are 67 & 68 and had never been on a Segway, so we were fairly nervous. But after their instructions and a little practice, we were ready. We had a blast! The views were spectacular, and the guys had tons of knowledge and insight into the history of Vail Valley. We whole-heartedly recommend this tour, we can’t wait to bring our granddaughters out here to experience this fun tour.
