What To Expect

Valley of Fire State Park

The best hiking destination close to Las Vegas. This place is spectacular. Enjoy a colorful Aztec Sandstone rock combinations at the Valley of Fire, which formed from shifting sand dunes 150 million years ago. On a sunny day, these rock formations look like they are on fire, giving the park its name, the Valley of Fire.

Seven Magic Mountains

One of the most photographic art in the Mohave Desert. Swiss Artist Ugo Rondinone art installation featuring 7 painted boulder totems up to 35 ft. Installation was 10 years 20,000 pounds to 25 tons, stacked into seven towers. They form totemic figures 30 feet to 35 feet tall. They are meant to evoke contrast and continuity from nature to culture, hence their bright colors, which are typical of Rondinone's sculptures. Enjoy the monuments colorful rock formation and take a best picture ever.

Great tour well worth the money. Our tour guide Janus (sp?) was very knowledgeable about the Valley of Fire and took us to the highlights including a “secret” spot which was probably the most beautiful place I’ve been to in awhile. The tour was well paced as we were never in the van for very long (1 hour max) before being taken to the next location to explore but our guide never made us feel rushed and encouraged us to take our time and offered to point out the best spots for pictures. Van was very comfortable and we were provided with plenty of snacks and drinks. The tour leaves really early in the morning but this turned out to be a blessing because we didn’t need to deal with crowds as it certainly got busier later in the morning. Our afternoon stop Red Rock Canyon was a bit of a dud due to high winds in the afternoon it turned into a bit of a sandstorm and you couldn’t really see much. Nevertheless I would highly recommend this tour to any travelers looking to take a break from the Vegas Strip and get into nature.

I've been to Las Vegas numerous times over the years and I've never been outside of the city... until this tour... and I'm so glad I did. We stopped at numerous sites and they were breathtaking. I felt so small! There were so many sites to see but the view from Elephant Rock and Rainbow Vista were my favorite. There was so much history on the tour which our guide provided and he was amazing! He was very knowledgeable about the area and answered every question thoroughly. I'd highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to get away from the strip and step into nature!

This was a great small group (of 5) trip and Viktor is an excellent guide! Highly recommend for anyone wanting to get out of the city for a few hours.
