What To Expect

Valley of Fire State Park

The best hiking destination close to Las Vegas. This place is spectacular. Enjoy a colorful Aztec Sandstone rock combinations at the Valley of Fire, which formed from shifting sand dunes 150 million years ago. On a sunny day, these rock formations look like they are on fire, giving the park its name, the Valley of Fire.

Seven Magic Mountains

One of the most photographic art in the Mohave Desert. Swiss Artist Ugo Rondinone art installation featuring 7 painted boulder totems up to 35 ft. Installation was 10 years 20,000 pounds to 25 tons, stacked into seven towers. They form totemic figures 30 feet to 35 feet tall. They are meant to evoke contrast and continuity from nature to culture, hence their bright colors, which are typical of Rondinone's sculptures. Enjoy the monuments colorful rock formation and take a best picture ever.

Our morning started out with rainy skies, but by the end, I had one of my most amazing days in Las Vegas. Our tour was to the Valley of Fire State Park and Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. Our small group also opted to add on a visit to the Seven Magic Mountains art installation. The person most responsible for this incredible day was our tour guide, Viktor. He not only did a masterful job of navigating to significant sites, but he also helped us to take exceptional photographs. Our small group was able to maximize our time at each location and see a wealth of different rock formations and vistas. We climbed, walked, and marveled at the beauty at each stop. Viktor was very responsive to all our requests for stops and provided suggestions for stops we never imagined. Of the six different tours I have taken around Las Vegas, I felt this was by far the best. I will travel with JNS Tour Company again and I recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get away from the Strip for a day in order to see some amazing scenery.

You don’t want to miss this experience! We saw 2 beautiful parks in one day. Our tour guide, Viktor, was awesome - very knowledgeable, took countless pics of us, was accommodating to both our interests and our physical limitations. He made the tour enjoyable from start to finish.
