We had a great time on this tour and Janos was a wonderful guide! I would say it is definitely worth doing if you’re in Vegas and just want a quick change of scenery for a day without being a 14+ hour trip like some other destinations. The Valley of Fire had some really amazing rock formations where pictures do not do justice. The walks/hikes were short enough for all fitness levels. I would definitely recommend sneakers, although prepare to walk through soft sand as well as over rocks. Janos was friendly and attentive. He brings plenty of water and some snacks for you. I would say if you think you’ll want a bit more, bring your own snacks or lunch. There is a stop at the visitor center to buy more snacks or premade sandwiches if you need though but choices are limited. There are also enough bathroom options within the stops (just fyi). Overall a worthwhile and recommended tour!

Really enjoyed the tour. Learned things along the way which is nice. Best part is tour guide was an unexpectedly great photographer!
