Marvel at petrified wood and 3,000-year-old American Indian petroglyphs as you take an easy, moderate or difficult guided hike through Nevada's oldest state park. During your 4-, 5- or 6-hour tour, you'll also pass through the Moapa River Indian Reservation and catch sight of Lake Mead. It was great to have a guide - Max - who obviously loves and has great knowledge of the stunning Valley of Fire and hiking and is thoughtful and helpful. The Valley of Fire is just amazing, I had no idea anything so beautiful and peaceful exists so near Vegas. We were fortunate to see lots of desert big horn sheep close up while we were there. Very highly recommend both Max and the Valley of Fire!
