Take a break from the glitz of Las Vegas and escape to the gorgeous natural scenery in Valley of Fire State Park with this morning or afternoon hiking tour. Marvel at petrified wood and 3,000-year-old American Indian petroglyphs as you take an easy, moderate or difficult guided hike through Nevada's oldest state park. During your 4-, 5- or 6-hour tour, you'll also pass through the Moapa River Indian Reservation and catch sight of Lake Mead. This small-group tour is limited to 13 people to ensure more personalized attention from your guide.

Intense walk. Sarah picked us up at the Hotel, drove us to the site with great Knowledge of all things Vegas. The walk was one of the highlights , as we were able to adapt the effort to our fitness. By the end of the walk we were scrambling up every hill we could see and Sarah was glad to show us the way up. Overall an excellent day, if you want to do more challenging walks and you are fairly fit, the Intense walk is the one to choose.

So on our trip out to Vegas my wife set us up with a day hike with Sarah from Love Hikes at the Intense level. Sarah picked us up from our hotel on the strip and provided great banter and regional education on the way there. We had a great time climbing where others weren’t treading to create special views and fun challenges. I even lost a shoe for a moment in a wedge of a tight fitting slot canyon. Thankfully Sarah was able to retrieve it and I was able to provide her with a story for future hikers. Would easily recommend Sarah as a guide with Love Hikes.
