Marvel at petrified wood and 3,000-year-old American Indian petroglyphs as you take an easy, moderate or difficult guided hike through Nevada's oldest state park. During your 4-, 5- or 6-hour tour, you'll also pass through the Moapa River Indian Reservation and catch sight of Lake Mead. This small-group tour is limited to 13 people to ensure more personalized attention from your guide.

Our Valley of Fire hike was an amazing experience! Sarah was the consummate tour guide. From the moment she picked us up until she dropped us off at our hotel, Sarah kept us very informed and entertained. It’s obvious that she really enjoys showing customers the sights. She’s an excellent driver and tour guide. The hike was a bit more challenging than we expected, but not overly so, mostly due to our own physical condition. Valley of Fire is certainly the most beautiful sight we’ve witnessed. Exploring it with an informed and outgoing guide made the experience even more wonderful. We are so glad that we booked this hike because it is an unforgettable bucket list item. I would highly recommend the tour to anyone who wants to see the nature wonders outside the glitz and glamor of Las Vegas!

This was probably the highlight of my Vegas trip and one of my cheaper activities. If you are considering this, just do it! The guide picked me up at my hotel. The communication prior to pick up was superior. We drove out to the park which was the best park near Vegas to see by far (better than White Rock). I was doing this alone while my husband played in a poker tournament. I joined two other ladies who were from Ireland so it was fun to exchange stories and experiences with them and the guide. Our hike was amazing and I captured fantastic pictures. My Facebook friends all want to know where I was and how they can book this. The weather was perfect! It can start cool and get warm out there so dress in layers that can be removed and a good sun hat is a great idea. An extra jacket never hurts. I had my own backpack but he offered us one. We got waters and snacks offered. Take them in your pack, you just never know. There are so many places to explore in this park you could return numerous times and never be bored or see it all! I chose to do a difficult hike and I don’t regret it. Be prepared to climb some boulders and do a bit of scrambling if you chose that level. I love hiking so this was right up my alley. I honestly can’t say enough about this adventure or our guide. LOVED it!
