What To Expect

Ala Wai Canal

Cruise along the Ala Wai harbor and canal for approximately 45 minutes for 9AM to 4PM cruises and 1 hour for sunset evening cruises (5 pm to 7:15 pm) Magic Island gondola cruise option does not enter the canal unless you upgrade to the 45 minute or 1 hour cruise

Honolulu

See the Honolulu city skyline. Depending on weather conditions, spectacular rainbows may appear. Depending on time of sailing, experience an unforgettable sunset and the glistening lights of the city's skyline.

Diamond Head State Monument

From the comfort of your gondola, enjoy a breathtaking wide view of Diamond Head, the now-dormant volcanic landscape on the Hawaiian island of Oahu. Did you know that the British soldiers who visited the area in the 19th century thought that the sparkling calcite crystals on the neighboring beach were diamonds? This idea stuck and eventually gave rise to its current name.

This was way better than the Gondola we took at the Venetian in Las Vegas. Firstly, it is in the real outdoors, you see beautiful yachts pass by and we got to see Waikiki from a totally new perspective. It was a decently long ride being 45 minutes as opposed to 15 minutes you get in Las Vegas.

What a remarkable ride. I normally get seasick when I am on a boat, but this ride was very smooth. No waves, just a calm gentle current. The treats were very tasty, and the gondolier was fun to talk to.
