What To Expect
1
Ho'okipa Beach Park
Ho’okipa Beach is a world-class surfing and windsurfing destination on the North Shore of Maui. In addition to the incredible surf conditions, it is famous for being a haven for having more Hawaiian sea turtles than any other beach on the island.
2
Hana Highway - Road to Hana
One of the most beautiful drives in the world, the Road to Hana is a crown-jewel of Maui with its lush rainforest, dramatic and rugged ocean vistas, exotic plants, and countless waterfalls and pools.
3
Ke‘anae Point
A dramatic, half-mile-long massive finger of newer lava rock sticking out from the cliff line, Ke'anae Peninsula is a place of immense natural beauty. The stark contrast between the bright green hala trees, the black of the rugged, lava shoreline, and the vibrant blue water of the Pacific Ocean is truly a sight to behold. This peninsula was once home to an ancient taro-producing Hawaiian village, and much of the land is still taro fields today.
4
Pua'a Ka'a State Park
This is the place to stop if you're looking for a typically Hawaiian swimming hole and waterfall to swim under. The water is from a natural spring, unbelievably clean, but very cold.
5
Wailua Falls
Beautiful views of Wailua Valley with multiple large waterfalls, Ko‘olau Gap in Haleakala’s crater rim, and of Wailua Village with multiple taro fields.
6
Garden of Eden Arboretum & Botanical Garden
The Garden of Eden, established by Maui’s first ISA-certified arborist in 1991, was constructed to celebrate the island’s exotic plant life while also honoring its natural ecosystem. Going down in history as the background imagery in the opening scene of Jurassic Park, the beautifully maintained site offers the largest ti plant collection in the state, a bamboo alley, a century-old mango tree, stunning ocean views, and an Enchanted Forest (truly).
