Our therapist was Annie and she is a phenomenal therapist. She addressed every one of my painful areas without me having to tell her where they were, gave me a fantastic stretch, used hot stones expertly which helped to really open up my muscles, got up onto my back with her full body weight and used her knees and hands to address the tightness and cracked my neck both directions gently but swiftly which is something I really needed. My husband and I scheduled the 90 mins couples massage special which included 60 mins of deep tissue and 30 mins of Foot reflexology. Both were amazing. I have massages every 2 weeks to treat my moderate to severe fibromyalgia pain and no one is able to get as deep and as therapeutic as Annie. Half way through the massage I actually wondered if I had died and gone to heaven because I experienced that mind-body separation (dissociative) sensation you get when your natural endorphins kick in suddenly. It’s been 2 days and I am still pain free. Typically, a 90 min massage at Massage Envy in Ga keeps me pain free for less than a day. Having said that, if you have never been to an Asian massage house you will be somewhat turned off with the lack of luxury and no frills ambiance of this establishment. Most ,if not all, them are similar to this one. The bathroom needs some heavy duty cleaning for sure and there can be more attention to making sure that linens are clean. As I was about to put my head through the head rest I realized that the towel covering it had make up on it. At my request Annie changes it for me. The front office staff could stand to have more of the gentleness, attention to detail desire to please the client that Annie exhibited.
