Unlike other tour companies, we don't advertise a destination because we want your experience to be as good as possible, so we pick the best locations with the best conditions for each day.

Blue Water Maui is the only snorkel tour on West Maui with a true SCUBA diving experience. No SNUBA or fake diving with us, just the real deal and led by the best Dive Instructors in Hawaii!

We are also the only tour operator on Maui with giant floating islands we attach to the boat. They can hold up to 17 people and are great for lounging after snorkeling, drift snorkeling for beginner swimmers, or just walking on water!

There's no soggy lunch wraps on a snorkel tour with Blue Water Maui! We only serve fresh chef prepared lunches, homemade banana bread and fresh fruit along with plenty of drinks.

We had an awesome time. Mark and Brian could not have been better. We have done snorkeling trips on past visits and they have all been great but we enjoyed the small group on Blue Water Maui more than any other outing we have gone on.

I went on the June 23 tour and it was a great snorkel adventure. Our captains were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They took us first to Honolua bay where the snorkeling is pretty amazing! The fish and the coral are so colorful. I even saw a moray eel! Then we went to a collapsed pier at Mala wharf. Though I prefered Honolua bay, they were both great and we had the collapsed pier pretty much to our selves, a big contrast with Honolua bat which was a bit overrun with snorkelers from other groups. I liked the size of our tour group. There were eleven of us, plus the two captains which was so much smaller than the other tours that were in Honlua bay at that time. And while we still had to share the water with those big groups, the smaller group made for a more fun boat ride. It made conversation easy. Overall, it was a highlight of my trip to Maui. I would definitely recommend Blue Water Maui.

Captain Mark and his crew did a great job making our family of 5 feel comfortable in the water. We have a 9, 7 and 4 year old who were learning to snorkel right before our trip but still a bit uncertain of what it would be like. They had all of the equipment we needed including floatation devices, masks and flippers. We enjoyed the smaller size of the group (11 total including us) and the extra attention we were able to receive. Blue Water bases their locations according to current conditions. I had hoped we'd be able to go to Lanai but the southern swells made it impossible to go so we stayed on the Maui. We first went to Slaughterhouse beach which had calm, "pool-like" waters that made it easy for all of us to feel safe. Next, we went to Honolua Bay where we saw plenty of fish and turtles living in a beautiful coral reef. We were able to squeeze in one more stop at Mala Bay where we started. I wish we had more time there as we saw turtles being cleaned all around us. Overall I would highly recommend and would love to be back with Blue Water Maui soon.
