Blue Water Maui is the only snorkel tour on West Maui with a true SCUBA diving experience. No SNUBA or fake diving with us, just the real deal and led by the best Dive Instructors in Hawaii!

We are also the only tour operator on Maui with giant floating islands we attach to the boat. They can hold up to 17 people and are great for lounging after snorkeling, drift snorkeling for beginner swimmers, or just walking on water!

There's no soggy lunch wraps on a snorkel tour with Blue Water Maui! We only serve fresh chef prepared lunches, homemade banana bread and fresh fruit along with plenty of drinks.

Total BS. Booked a few weeks ago for diving and snorkeling, planned our Hawaii trip around it, and they cancelled two days before the experience.

The captain and scuba instructor were friendly, knowledgeable, and shared how much they love living and working in Maui. The trip itself was over priced, the website features sweet bread and snacks that were not served. It also boasts “chef prepared lunch” which is a little deceiving as the only thing that might have been chef prepared could have been the potato salad and chicken salad. The captain took us to Lanai for one snorkel site, then we went back to the launch site for the second snorkel site. For the price paid- we expected novel sites that required a boat ride to get to.

Aloha, we are disappointed to hear that you did not fully enjoy your morning on the water with us. Your first snorkel stop was on the exotic island of Lanai, which is one of the largest privately owned islands in the world. It is a 45-60 minute boat ride, each way, and is as far as we can go on a 4.5 hour tour. The “Pineapple Island”, Lanai, has some of the best snorkeling and SCUBA diving in all of Hawaii and is often unreachable due to ocean conditions, so it’s a real treat to get snorkel Lanai. Your second snorkel stop, Mala Pier, was chosen as it had the best conditions that day with clear visibility and lots of turtles. Most people enjoy spending time with the 12+ Honu (Green Sea Turtles) that make Mala Pier their home. The lunch consisting of the Mexican Chicken Salad that was offered on your tour was prepared by Chef Marcos on the morning of your tour. We will continue to strive to make sure that we provide an overwhelming experience and our apologies we were not able to meet that expectation for you.

Captain Mark was awesome. He found great snorkeling spots even though it was a windy day. He also stopped a couple of times to see whales and we saw a baby whale breaching several times. It was an unbeatable experience!
