Unlike other tour companies, we don't advertise a destination because we want your experience to be as good as possible, so we pick the best locations with the best conditions for each day.

Blue Water Maui is the only snorkel tour on West Maui with a true SCUBA diving experience. No SNUBA or fake diving with us, just the real deal and led by the best Dive Instructors in Hawaii!

We are also the only tour operator on Maui with giant floating islands we attach to the boat. They can hold up to 17 people and are great for lounging after snorkeling, drift snorkeling for beginner swimmers, or just walking on water!

There's no soggy lunch wraps on a snorkel tour with Blue Water Maui! We only serve fresh chef prepared lunches, homemade banana bread and fresh fruit along with plenty of drinks.

We had a fantastic time with Blue Water Maui! My daugher, my niece, and me did an afternoon snorkel and SCUBA cruise out of Mala Boat Ramp in Lahaina. On the way over to snorkel off of Lanai, we saw a bunch of whales, and Captain Mark stopped the boat several times so we could watch the whales. It wasn't technically a whale-watching cruise, but Blue Water Maui threw in the experience for free! Captain Mark, Nixon, and divemaster Ethan were all great! They were super friendly and full of lots of knowledge about the whales and the islands. My daughter did the intro to SCUBA dive. She had never dived before, but Ethan was extremely patient and a good teacher, and she loved the experience. The dive off the old Mala pier was fantastic. We swam within a foot of a turtle, saw 3 sharks, an eel, and a ton of fish. I would recommend Blue Water Maui to anyone!

The adventure was hands down one of the best snorkel and scuba experiences that we have been on. Chad and Mark were great. We had time for whale watching and two stops for snorkeling and scuba. Chad and Mark's knowledge of the area made the adventure more meaningful. In addition, Mark and Chad gave great care in helping these beginner scuba divers feel safe and have an amazing experience! these guys were great. we were supposed to just do a whale watch but that got cancelled because not enough seats were booked. they put us on this trip instead and we couldn't have been happier. the captain picks snorkle spots based on weather so they dont take you out only to find the water is too choppy. they went above and beyond to make sure we got our whale watching and found a few pods that got up close and personal. also found a pod of false killer whales. the crew was just as excited to see the animals and talk about them as we were. they keep small crowds too so much more personal experience. pick these guys if theres any debate about who to go with.
