Unlike other tour companies, we don't advertise a destination because we want your experience to be as good as possible, so we pick the best locations with the best conditions for each day.

Blue Water Maui is the only snorkel tour on West Maui with a true SCUBA diving experience. No SNUBA or fake diving with us, just the real deal and led by the best Dive Instructors in Hawaii!

We are also the only tour operator on Maui with giant floating islands we attach to the boat. They can hold up to 17 people and are great for lounging after snorkeling, drift snorkeling for beginner swimmers, or just walking on water!

There's no soggy lunch wraps on a snorkel tour with Blue Water Maui! We only serve fresh chef prepared lunches, homemade banana bread and fresh fruit along with plenty of drinks.

The entire crew and experience with Blue Water Maui was incredible! I took our family of 4, my wife, and kids 13, and 11. I've been scuba certified for 15+ years and seldom got a chance to dive after our kids were born. Now we had the chance to let them dive with me to try it or just snorkel if that's all they wanted to do while I did a short dive. Brian, Mark, Micah, Micki, Hollis,...everyone was super helpful, very kind, patient and flexible. When things needed to be adapted, like navigating the swells to safely get us on and off the boat, finding the best locations to dive and snorkel, and allowing me to dive with my son for his very first dive. Can't say enough good things about this tour and the team at Blue Water Maui. They pay attention to all the details to make a great experience for everyone! The lunch and snacks were delicious as well. We lucked upon a school of dolphins both days we went. And yes! We went two days in a row because we took a family vote and that's what everyone wanted to do again. Be in the water! If you don't like getting in the water but you want to see the fish, then the floating mat is perfect. Custom options for everyone's comfort level. Book your trip, you won't be disappointed.

We loved our morning/afternoon of snorkeling with Mark & Brian. Not only was the snorkeling itself wonderful, but they also spotted and pointed out other creatures along the way. We saw a seal, 2 eagle rays, and a pod of spinner dolphins! You could tell both Mark & Brian love the ocean and the animals, it was fun seeing how excited they got at some of the rarer creatures we came across. As for the snorkeling itself, we went to 3 spots, saw lots of turtles and fish, and had a great day in the water. Cap Mark also gave us a poke spot recommendation for 2nd lunch that day, it was delish :)

Excellent tour. Me and my son(14) went on the scuba and snorkeling trip. I am certified and he is not so the intro to scuba was great, weather was bad so we couldn’t go to lanai, but honolua bay was great, for diving and snorkeling. The crew was very friendly and the food was above and beyond my expectations. Highly recommend this tour to anyone. Also this is a smaller boat so you get a much more personal experience vs a boat with 50 people on it, our group was 6. Thanks again to blue water Maui
