What To Expect
1
Boston Common
Your adventure begins in the lush, green Boston Common—America's oldest urban park, with roots in the 17th century and ties to the American Revolution. There's no better place to begin your journey along the Freedom Trail.
2
Massachusetts State House
From there, head to the Massachusetts State House, located on land once owned by the one and only John Hancock.
3
Granary Burying Ground
After swinging by the Park Street Church, you'll head to the Granary Burying Ground, the final resting place of notable patriots such as Samuel Adams and Paul Revere.
4
Freedom Trail
Continuing along the Freedom Trail, you'll see sights that played a pivotal role in early American history. Discover the space where revolutionaries met to plan pivotal events such as the Boston Tea Party, pause at the somber site of the Boston Massacre, and hear the story of Samuel Adams at Faneuil Hall.
5
Old North Church & Historic Site
Next, it's time to head into the North End neighborhood. Over the centuries, this part of Boston has become a home to a thriving Italian immigrant community, but it also happens to be the home of the final two Freedom Trail sites on your itinerary. First, you'll step into the Old North Church to enjoy a private guided experience, including a trip up to the bell tower where two strategically placed lanterns launched the American Revolution.
6
The Paul Revere House
Finally, you'll have time to explore Revere's very own home at your own pace as your Freedom Trail experience comes full-circle.

Horrible experience. Our tour guide never even showed up. We tried calling the company and I was put on hold multiple times and then was told Someone would call me back, they never did. Don’t waste your money.

I scheduled a walking tour through City Experiences by Hornblower. Michael was an excellent tour guide! He was very informed about the history of the Boston area, and we learned many interesting historical details and stories that we didn't hear on the standard tours. Great experience if you want to hear a more in-depth, complex history of Boston during the revolutionary war

We had a fantastic time on this morning walking tour and it truly turned out to be one of the biggest highlights of our entire trip ✨ Our guide, Cameron, was so fun, knowledgeable, and effortlessly weaved us ahead some of the other crowds. Our experience definitely would not have been the same with a different guide. This tour will take you through the best parts of the Freedom Trail and colorful areas of downtown Boston before, uniquely, ending in the North End. The morning slot is convenient for those who want to keep the rest of the day open for other activities, or want to catch Italian for lunch after it’s over. It is 100% a must for anyone eager to see the quirky and historic parts of Boston.
