VIP Private Yellowstone Wildlife Safari with Guided Hikes and Lunch Included

Overview
Our Safari Tours are led by a wildlife biologist with years of experience guiding in Yellowstone.

We will depart your accommodations and head towards Yellowstone’s northern range, undoubtedly one of the prime wildlife viewing spots in the world, it harbors impressive bison herds, wolf packs, and meandering bears. Visitors are likely to depart from the park’s northern lands with at least one, if not more, checks on their wildlife card. Wild and pristine. When thinking about Yellowstone, a vast and amazing back-country, large carnivores, bison herds, iconic geysers, and geothermal features fill the imagination.

Along the way we will stop to take fun family friendly hike or two to a secluded lake or waterfall. Mid way through the tour we will stop for a picnic lunch at a scenic area.

Time permitting we will walk the boardwalks of Mammonth Hot Springs.

Note: to maximize our chances of seeing wildlife this your leaves early AM.

We spent two days in the park on tour. Sean was our guide and knew just where to take us. My teenager had a check list of what he hoped to see - we laughed at the impossibility of seeing most of the items - but Sean knew where to go to see them: mother black bear with cubs climbing a tree; a wolf attacking; bear eating a bison: mother elk leading her baby across a rapidly running river; a moose; coyote; field of bison; grizzly bear… and oh, yes, amazing prismatic hot springs; old faithful; etc. We saw them all… and then some. Sean took us for local huckleberry shakes and packed a just-right picnic lunch of sandwiches, chips, and a delicious soft baked chocolate chip cookie to eat amid the gorgeous landscape. We could not have asked for a better adventure— the only thing missing was my eldest son, Angelo. Would recommend Derek and Sean for this bucket-list adventure. Without them we barely would have seen a thing. It’s a big park!

Our wildlife tour with Derek was by far the best day of our trip! His knowledge and expertise were so valuable. He knew the best places to look, and we were able to spot so much more than we could’ve done on our own. Also, being able to view things through his spotting scope was a game changer. I had no idea how much better those would be versus our binoculars! He was super informative, and gave us an amazing experience!! I was worried about my kids (8 and 10) getting restless, but he kept them engaged the whole time!

Our guide Derek was excellent! He arrived early and offered us lots of options for viewing wildlife and amazing sights. We focused on Lamar Valley area and saw 5 WOLVES!! Also a brown bear, fox, coyote, mountain goats, pronghorn deer, bison, and elk!! We took a short hike to a waterfall and saw bear prints in the mud along the trail...very awesome! Derek was very knowledgeable and really tried to make it the best trip for what we wanted to see and do. I would highly recommend this for a memorable experience around the northern part of Yellowstone/Mammoth Springs area.
