What To Expect
1
Lamar Valley
The Lamar Valley of Yellowstone National Park is world renowned for the wildlife that congregates here. It is often refeered to "The Serengeti of Yellowstone." The Lamar Valley is currently the best place to spot wild wolves in the United States. This is the exact location where biologists from National Park Service released the first wolf pack to walk in Yellowstone since the early 1900's. Not only can we see wolves here but we will see large bison and elk herds grazing in this famous valley.
2
Mammoth Hot Springs
We will explore the board walks surrounding Mammoth Hot Springs. Mammoth Hot Springs is a very large thermal feature sitting over a large deposit of limestone. The super heated water from the volcano underneath Yellowstone is dissolving the limestone a redepositing it to the surface as travertine limestone causing turquoise pools and unusual terraces.
3
Yellowstone National Park
Exploring the areas of the park in between Mammoth Hot springs and the Lamar Valley. We will see more animals in this area including: Elk, Moose, Fox, Coyote, Wolves, Pine Marten, long tail weasels, etc.

We booked the Yellowstone Winter Wolf Watching and Wildlife Safari tour package for my father's 80th birthday. He flew in from Wichita, KS and we flew in from Sacramento, CA.  Andrea reached out to me prior to our trip to make sure that our lunches were in alignment with our dietary restrictions and preferences and to make sure that we would make the best use of our time based on what was happening within the park. The morningof the tour he arrived early at our Airbnb taking slippery snowy roads to get to us.  He was kind and fit right in with our family which made the trip very comfortable, easy and a truly pleasant experience. You could tell that he was passionate about the park, the animals and his work, and that he is a thoughtful, courteous and professional tour guide/business owner.  Throughout the tour he made sure to explain everything that we saw along the way and answer any questions we had.  He took us to parts of the park that we would never have experienced on our own and when we encountered other guides and tours during the day, you could tell he was someone that his peers also admired and thought highly of.    During our trip we saw Elk, Wolves, Bison, Moose, Pronghorns, Bald Eagles, an American Dipper, Mountain Goats and a Cougar.   The 5 of us would definitely recommend YWWWWS to anyone who is looking for a magical experience!

Awesome trip! Andrea was awesome and flexible, we saw wolves, bison, mountain goats, and beaver. The spotting scopes and Andrea’s expertise guaranteed we saw way more than we would have on our end and his knowledge really shone through re: the overall ecosystem, wolves, and Montana/Yellowstone.
