Choose Spirited Tours (www.spirited-tours.com) to be your designated driver and guide to Virginia's wines! We will pick you up from DC for a day tour of Virginia's winey country where you'll enjoy wine tastings at two different wineries and have lunch (available for purchase at the estate) while admiring the gorgeous views of the countryside. We will provide history bits, snacks and water, and behind-the-scenes tour and tastings. We will drop you off back in DC before sunset. We run winery tours on Saturdays, based on demand. Join us on a public group tour and meet new friends, or call us for a private tour tailored to your preferences. Details of the specific wineries that will be visited during the tours will be shared a couple of days prior to each booked tour.

The tour started a little late (I believe this may have been due to the half-marathon) though my group of 5 really and truly had a great time. Both wineries were great with Gray Ghost being the group favorite! We received a full lesson on wine making and tasting. Couldn’t help but to purchase and send home a case! If you happen to be there during the holiday season be sure to check out the cork display!

I don’t think this is a story you want to share. And hopefully it will get fixed. My tour apparently got delayed, but I was not contacted about that. I just received the message on a Thursday to the other particular place at 11 AM Saturday morning, and we did there until calling to find out what happened. Hopefully I’ll be able to reschedule and give a happier response!

Al at Gray Ghost was amazing! The best winery tour I’ve ever had . I would do the tour again ! Also, Edge was the sweetest tour guide. Just book it already !
