Volcanoes N. P. has been on my bucket list for years. I've made at least 70 ( not a typo) trips to Hawaii and at various times have made it to all the outer islands. Had seen my share of "attractions" and just wanted to see Volcanoes N. P. Jay ( of Dynamic Tours) arranged a private tour for us and suggested doing the helicopter tour. Great suggestion, really the highlight of the day. Our tour leader, Sohee, was terrific and the fact that it was just the two of us allowed us to make our own itinerary and go at our own pace, especially important as my husband is disabled.

Very poorly organized and operated tour. Very typical cheap mini bus tour and under qualified driver/guide who lacks experience and knowledge about volcano.

Tour was good, somewhat laid back. A little more narrative about the Hawaiian culture would have been nice but overall we enjoyed the sights.
