Mike led us on a very solid walking tour. It was fun to hear about and see how folks in New Orleans buried their dead. The voodoo part was also quite interesting - lots of cleared misconceptions on what voodoo actually entails. The walking part of the tour doesn't cover a whole lot of land, though getting from the start of the tour (the box office) to the actual cemetery was a relative hike. Still, very easy for all ages, though the children on our tour were starting to get a little restless by the end of it. Great tour, I recommend it!

We had an awesome time on this tour! We learned about the history of Voodoo and of course Marie Laveaux. The walking was not as bad as I was expecting! The cemetery was beautiful and the burial process was interesting to learn about. I also thought it was a nice surprise seeing Nicholas Cages tomb as I knew he had one built in NOLA but I did not know we would get to see it on this tour. Our guide, Payten, was very knowledgeable and friendly. She talked about present day voodoo which I thought was very cool. Overall well worth the money to see the cemetery and hear the history. Loved it!!!
