This hike was so. much. fun. On the day we went it was cloudy and it was STILL totally worth the money. It's a 2.5 mi hike however it feels like even less. You stop all throughout the hike of the vineyard to get some gorgeous photo-ops. The reason you see Kurt's name all throughout the reviews is because he is hilarious, easy going, does a great job, and truly goes out of his way to take pictures of everyone that they like. If you're looking for some incredible Instagram opportunities and a great day, definitely recommend the hike! If you're looking to get drunk, the safari might be a better option because they drink all throughout the ride on that one. On the hike you still get to meet Stanley the Giraffe, the zebras, etc. but it's less booze than the safari, I think. Definitely recommend!

The Malibu Wine Hike was my Mother's Day present a week early since my husband would not be able to spend May 13th with my due to work travel. We booked the 10:30 am tour and was paired with Kurt Rieback as our guide. He was funny, very patient---considering considering our seniorness, made sure we got all the pictures of the winery, feeding the animals and amusing information we wanted. He led our group of 8 and made all of us laugh and have a wonderful time. He truly did not treat this a "just a job", but a passion. Every time I have guests visit LA I take them on a hike with Kurt and it is always their favorite part of the trip. You get to experience so much during the breathtaking two mile hike-from feeding stanley the giraffe, to seeing amazing mountain views, to learning about the vineyard...it truly dosn't get any better. 10/10 would recommend! Kurt is awesome and makes the entire day so much fun!
