Texas Department of Transportation law requires that all children younger than 8 years old, unless taller than 4 feet 9 inches, be secured in a child safety seat whenever they ride in a vehicle. Stop at JDH Iron Design when open. Jimmy Don is a Texas treasure and as nice as they come. Please understand that we have no control over the operating hours of Jimmy Don's business, but we do stop when open and provide a discount ticket for shopping.

Unfortunately Waco is shutdown due to the Coronavirus when we got here on Wed. I had looked into a tour, they had a note on website saying they were open, and are cleaning vans before and after each tour. I booked tour for Fri. Mar. 20th. Even though it was a rainy day I'm glad we did the tour, it was like a private tour seeing it was only my husband and I. Sue was very knowledgeable, showed us some of the downtown sites as well as "Fixer Upper" sites and future projects for Chip and Joanna. We did get to go into the "3 Little Pigs" home, and Harp Design which was about to close. I highly recommend this tour especially if your a fan of the show.

We had an AWESOME TOUR of Waco! I have NOT stopped talking about it since I returned home. The tour guide was FANTASTIC, she seemed excited to be sharing all the details that we were interested in. We would never have seen or experienced Waco like we did if we had not taken this tour. I definitely RECOMMEND IT!!!!

This tour was really good. We saw all parts of Waco. Our tour guide, Joe, was funny and informative. We received good information on the history of Waco and all things Chip and Joanna. We stopped at the Clint Harp former workshop and we got to meet and take photos with Jimmy Don. Everyone on our tour purchased a Jimmy Don metal wall hanging and he signed each one! The best part of the tour for me was going into a Fixer Upper home and seeing Chip & Joanna's handiwork up close and personal. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour.
