Texas Department of Transportation law requires that all children younger than 8 years old, unless taller than 4 feet 9 inches, be secured in a child safety seat whenever they ride in a vehicle. Have gone on this great tour twice, once in 2018, and again this year. Loved it both times. Got to see parts of Waco that you wouldn’t find on your own. They were very informative about the history of Waco and all the good things that have happened since Chip and Joanna started the renovations of so many houses and buildings there. Would recommend this tour to any one that is planning on going to Waco. Scott and Sue are great people, love them. Reasonable price also.

great trip. lot of interesting facts. Sue did a great job.My sister, brother in law, my husband and my self really enjoyed this tour. She even added a tour of one of the homes. Thanks for a great time.

It was a HOT day .....way too hot to cram 14 people in a van.....the A/C did not cool properly .....we were sitting on top of each other in the back of the van (and we arrived 30 min early for the tour) ......and although Sue was very knowledgeable - she did not have a microphone - and we could not hear a thing she said. Finally - over halfway through the tour we were offered room temperature bottled water. Sue did an amazing job despite the conditions - but those of us in the back were miserable!

Thank you for the feedback. Also thank you for the nice compliment of Sue, as she does a wonderful job with the tours. As for your overall experience because of the conditions, if you will contact Brazos Tours we would like to refund your tour. We use standard 15 passenger tour vans with a seat for everyone. Company policy is that we board the vans at the time of the tour. As well, we have dual air on each van and regularly charge the freon in the vehicles. I will make sure and immediately schedule another maintenance of the vehicles to check the freon. On exceptionally hot days, with the large sliding door opening and closing at stops along the tour, it is difficult to have enough time between stops for a van to cool down as a car would. We do our best and usually keep the vans running at stops to ensure a comfortable experience for the passengers. I will make sure and reiterate that with each driver. At the beginning of each tour we let the group know there is bottled water. We do put ice in the coolers, but I can see how the bottles on top might not quickly cool down. We will ensure all water bottles are covered by the ice moving forward. Normally we ask if everyone can hear at different times along the tour. I'm glad you shared about this as it is a new concern to us. I will be contacting a sound company today about microphones for the vans. Again, thank you for your feedback and booking the tour.
