We have been coming back to this same catamarran for years, just the right size for a nice time on the waves. You can ride on the net if you like to get wet or sit on the bench if you don’t.
The view from out on the water gives you a different perspective on Waikiki.
Just go down to the beach near the Duke Kahanomoku statue and join the next one hour ride going out.

Saw the catamaran on the beach, asked the guys about booking and they said just pay and jump on. So my wife and I did and what a great short sail off Waikiki beach with views of the city and passing turtles. The crew were great guys, this is a must do if your on the beach at Waikiki.

My wife and I took an afternoon trip with these guys - no booking necessary, we just turned up and paid. We both had a great time, it's a marvelous way to see Waikiki and Diamond Head from a different angle. The boys offered up bits of information here and there and were always available to take photos for you.
You can have the drier ride sitting in the catamaran or ride up front on the netting where you're guaranteed to get soaked. There's also a stop out at sea just before the end of the trip where you can have a swim.
Oh! And take your own drinks.
