The business and our guide,Adam, were fine. Overall, the experience was very disappointing and barely meets the descriptions of a river adventure. Most of the river is not allowed for commercial tours. We had a small area of river that was near the boat launch and nothing worth seeing. We spent most of the time kayaking on ā€œoceanā€ protected by a break wall. Relatively calm but nothing really worth exploring or seeing. This experience was an opportunity to be in a kayak for 90 minutes but definitely not worth the $100 per person. In my experience a river kayak adventure is miles long and includes scenic highlights…weaving and winding with the natural flow of water as it cuts through the land. This experience did not warrant a guide. We could have just as easily been in kayaks and told to return in 2 hours.

We really enjoyed all the information Adam shared with us about Hawaiian culture and history. Since we were a small group he modified the pace and we were able to cove all the allowable territory of the kayak river and also get near the harbor. Adam was prepared with providing snacks and also weather gear since we experienced rain. We had a great time! An idea I have is whether the route can be lengthened somehow. I know it would take some challenging communication with the apartment complex past the county park which will not allow commercial venues in their area. I would recommend this for people who are not quite so adventurous about scuba diving or other more challenging tours. Thanks! We enjoyed the experience.

The staff that checked us in were polite and professional. The facility and equipment immaculate. Adam our guide was knowledgeable and fun. It was a great way to spend a few hours.
