We’re a family of four and we went on this amazing tour with Horizon. She was engaging, knowledgeable, and absolutely enamored of this city. You want tour guides who love their work, and who are unflinchingly honest. She tells you the story of the city, not just facts on a walk. She is unafraid to tell you the true history as it was, she loves her city enough to make you love it too, flaws and all. It’s also great to have a tour guide who is aware of her tourists. It was a bit chilly this morning, she made sure we stopped in sunshine to keep us warm. She had puns for days, well timed along the way. She told us about local businesses that give you Savannah specific items, not just a generic Tee Shirt. She had suggestions for restaurants at every corner. Take these tours, use this company. We took another tour with the same company and Cricket was phenomenal as well. These are employees who do more than just their job. They walk you through the story of Savannah, and their love for this place is evident across all the tours with all the guides. You want that in a tour, hours fly by this way. Thank you, Horizon!

My husband and I had a great time walking with Horizon. She was fantastic and full of loads of information with unique facts and stories. Horizon really brought the past to life for us and we now have a better understanding of the times and people of early Savannah. Thank you Horizon for all your enthusiasm, quirky stories and love for the city! We thoroughly enjoyed you AND the tour !

We took a 10:30 AM walking to work with Horizon yesterday. It was such a delightful tour, we learned so much, and we felt much more connected with Savannah after. I think my favorite part of the tour was down by the river, when we talked about the cotton factors and the history of the cotton business in Savannah. Horizon was very knowledgeable and obviously interested in her work. We had a hard of hearing elderly person with us and she took extra care to make sure that he could hear her and get as much as possible out of the tour. I would highly recommend mad cat tours, and Horizon!
