We loved our tour with Mikko! He was chalk full of wonderful anecdotes about the women's history of NoLa and it's history in general. His storytelling was super engrossing and high energy, and he had great answers to any questions we asked. Including tips on dining, fine and otherwise. It was a blast all around, and the time flew by.

THIS is the New Orleans Tour everyone should take. Mikko is the MAN! Interesting, entertaining, thoughtful...it doesn't get any better! If you want to actually learn about New Orleans female history and have a fabulous time doing it, do not hesitate...go directly to the Check Availability button and click. My friend and I enjoyed this experience so much, we will be back next year with our spouses to do it again. Also, "Shout-out" to Tamara who organized and communicated beautifully. :-)

I posted this review on the company's site and am adding it here on Trip Advisor too because I want more people to see this. Mikko was our guide on the women's tour - and he could not have been better! The hour flew by, chock full of fascinating anecdotes about powerful New Orleans women throughout the 17th-19th centuries. Mikko was informative, breaking down relevant historical contexts in an easy-to-digest way (tours often can't hold my attention for long), as well as entertaining. He also made sure to check in regarding water/restroom breaks, important in the New Orleans summer heat, and took us to a cute local watering hole along the way! If you're in New Orleans and considering going on a tour, Mikko's your man. - Lena, CA
