This tour doesn’t include the full freedom trail. It covered a lot of architecture which I wasn’t very interested in. Also, you get pointed to look in directions of potential photo opportunities however if you break away to take some you could potentially lose the group. For me, this wasn’t the best option, and I wouldn’t take this tour again. Though others in the group enjoyed it.

I am sorry you felt disappointed, but we never say this tour covers the Whole Freedom Trail. We specifically say the Downtown portion from Faneuil Hall to Boston Common and the State House, which covers 11 of the 16 total Freedom Trail sites plus a whole lot more, including architecture (as you noted). There is of course opportunity for pictures during the tour, but not if you "break away" as you say.

Alan was a wonderful guy. He used humor, to make sure extremely enjoyable. He was clearly knowledgeable about the city and its history. We learned a great deal, and would recommend this tour
