It was our first time in Boston, and we wanted to hear some of the rich history. We really enjoyed the tour.

The tour started off well with some history. Once we ventured into Beacon Hill for the second half of the tour, there was very little content. I would suggest a separate Freedom Trail tour that is highly rated. And then a Beacon Hill tour would be lovely as well. This one missed the mark. Not much fun for kids or adults.

There IS a separate Freedom Trail Tour available for those who wish to concentrate on the older history of Boston. Just so you know, many folks enjoy the additional walk through Beacon Hill and Back Bay, including the Public Garden, the beautiful 19th century architecture and the stories of how they were created. Sorry you were not one of them.
