I happen to be a lowcountry "local" (lived here since 1982) who seldom ventured to the town of Beaufort. A house guest "shamed" me into taking Janet's tour. I found Janet full of great and accurate information. She made the tour interesting, fun and has peaked my interest to know more about my county seat. Thank you Janet for opening my eyes and mind. P.S. bring a camera...beautiful homes and scenery.

I was highly skeptical of doing any tours of Beaufort, but my husband insisted we do Janet’s tour. I am so glad he did! Janet’s tour was excellent - she is hilarious, so knowledgeable and made the experience so enjoyable for us. Would highly recommend her tour to everyone!

I am late in writing as we took the tour with Janet in Feb 2019. I would recommend this tour for everyone-an easy walk around the town. A nice rest stop at an Inn with cookies fresh out of the oven for all. Janet has personal stories of Beaufort and she presents the history of the area with enthusiasm and wit.
