Wall to Wall Boulder eBike Mural Ride (3 hours)

Overview
On the Wall To Wall Boulder eBike Mural Ride you'll see dozens of murals and other sights/sites while touring Boulder in fine style and ease on a Rad Power Bike. Your guide, Joel (JD), is a long-time local with a passion for Boulder, art and showing people a good time on two wheels.

What To Expect
1
Boulder Theater
More specifically, we'll focus on the alley behind the Boulder Theater. That's where we'll find 3 large murals put up during the 2020 Streetwise Mural Festival.
2
Boulder Creek Path
Segments of our tour will take us to the Boulder Creek Path, the lovely tree-lined east/west corridor that is the backbone of Boulder's extensive system of bike paths and trails. Just cruising the path on eBike is one of the most fun things you can do in Boulder. Along the way you'll encounter a nice cross-section of Boulderites, walking, jogging, biking, rollerblading and skateboarding up and down Boulder's "Main Street."
3
Goose Creek Greenway
The Goose Creek Greenway is another of Boulder's splendid bike paths. This one will take us east of town, then north, past funky warehouse districts, one of Boulder's largest prairie dog colonies, past the Valmont Skate Park and through a mix of north Boulder neighborhoods. It's a great place to open up these eBikes and see what they can do!
4
Wonderland Lake Park
At the west end of the exhilarating Wonderland Lake Greenway sits Wonderland Lake, nestled up against the mountains shooting up on the western edge of town. The Greenway itself is one of the best stretches of bikeway in town, taking you through areas only accessible via the path and eclectic neighborhoods. And the Lake is one of this town's prettiest spots.

I took this tour with my daughter. It was one of the highlights of our 2-week road trip. Joel was an amazing guide. He knows the backroads, the history, and the people. He managed the tour based on what we wanted to see and do. We got to immerse ourselves in the city. We could not have done this in a car, on foot, or on a traditional bike. We definitely could not have done it without Joel! I can't say enough about this experience. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Thanks very much for your kind words. I enjoyed spending the time with you and appreciate your enthusiasm for the ride, ebikes and Boulder in general. I hope we get a chance to ride together again, should you return to Boulder. Thank you again and enjoy the rest of your summer.

My wife and I had a fantastic time on Joel’s murals and Boulder neighborhood tour. We are in town for two days and thought a bike mural tour would be fun. It actually exceeded our expectations. Joel showed us not only some of the most iconic murals, but also gave us a flavor of what Boulder is: vibrant, young, forward-looking, inclusive, socially and environmentally responsible, artsy, hipster, respectful of its historic and architectural legacy, people-friendly. A very nice city. Thanks Joel, you made our day! Felipe & Luisa

We visited Boulder as a fall color get away. We took a three hour e-bike (Rad power bikes) guided ride with Joel of JD Joyrides. We had ask him to ride us thru as much fall color as he could. The ride was FUN. Joel showed us the most important sights around Boulder, we rode past lots of colorful trees located along the creek path, in old neighborhoods, parks, the university campus, etc... Lots of paved bike paths very separated from any roads. JD joyrides was easy to find, had access to a bathroom and is very near Pearl street mall. Joel was laid back, fun, informative and yet professional. The E-bikes were so fun. When you pedal, they go! Up to 20 miles per hour. Hills and wind are no match for them. Joel took as much time as we needed to show us all the features of the bikes. The ride was safe at all times. If you have any worries about riding e-bikes, you will be good to go as Joel will take care of teaching you how to use the e-bikes.
