On the recommendation of friends in the entertainment industry, we booked the full day deluxe Warner Bros. studio tour that includes a gourmet lunch in the commissary. This tour was worth every penny of its considerable price. Our tour guide was Thom, a senior guide at the studio, and his leadership was compelling and enchanting. We experienced everything you would want to see at a working studio, including the back lots, sound stages, post production facilities, TV show sets, and more. This tour lasted all day, but we were never tired or bored. Thom related very well to our group, including great conversation at lunch. We were with another couple who had never done a studio tour, and they too were extremely pleased. We would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family to spend the money for this deluxe tour.

We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon here, being escorted around the studios and given the opportunity to see some iconic scenes, costumes and locations from some of our favourite movies and tv shows. The chance to sit on the Friends coffee shop couch, and in Sheldon’s spot, was a highlight for us. I particularly enjoyed the bat cave and the costumes from the DC universe.

We took the Classic Warner Brothers Studio Tour (there are several different tours offered). After a short introductory movie, you board a tram with a guide to tour the studio buildings and back lots. Our guide was very knowledgeable about Warner Brothers classic movies and had a lot of stories to tell. We got off the tram at a couple stops to tour sound stages and the set of "Lucifer." This is a two hour tour, offered at various times during the day. Go online to see all the options. There were only six people on our tour, so that was pretty nice. Most tours had 15 or so people. Photos are allowed in almost all locations, except sound stages where proprietary filming might be taking place. We took this tour on a weekday, and there was lots of activity on the sets and in the streets. Several guides made the point that every tour is different, and that the guides have a lot of latitude as to where they go and what they see. This was a very enjoyable tour.
