What a fabulous trip! An early start in NYC at 6.15AM. Alan our tour guide was excellent and prompt! We did encounter a hic up as our coach broke down 1 hour into our trip! Alan was cool as a cucumber and we were soon on our way as a recover coach picked us up and continued our journey! Washington was delightful. All sights were seen and Alan was there to guide and provide details of all sights! This tour gives you a taster of the sights of Washington as you will need to spend a couple of days if you want to explore all sights in detail. As from the UK this was a fantastic trip and would recommend highly!

Good in theory, however the trip turned out not only to be a guided tour around Washington DC but also a 13 h campaign from the tour guide Allen who did not miss a chance to point out shortcomings of Donald Trump or praise Kamala Harris and / or Joe Biden. This in itself would contribute to a slightly annoying experience unless of course your are a big Harris fan, but on top of that you will face technical issues. The audio system in the bus works 50% of the time so you miss half of the guide's campaigning (for better or worse). The promised wifi reaches an astonishing speed of 1 kbps, making it practically worthless for anything but pure texting. The air conditioning in the bus is out of order so the bus temperature swiftly adapts to the outside temperature (which is likely to be hotter than you would wish). They also forgot to mention beforehand that you are actually not able to see the White House on the tour, which sort of would be the highlight. All in all, a concept, which could be quite good, fails due to poor execution.
