What an excellent trip we had from start to finish, we were picked up at 6.30am from McDonalds, Times Square in a luxury mini-bus for the four hour journey to Washington with a half hour stop in Delaware, on arriving in Washing we headed for Arlington Cemetery and JFK's grave, from there we went to the Iwo Jima memorial, then on to the Lincoln Memorial followed by a walk around the Vietnam and Korean memorials then the White House, after this we had an hour and a half between the museums and a chance to get something to eat, the museums are all free at the moment so we visited the Air & Space along with the Native American museum, the final visit was to Capitol Hill, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and funny, the time taken at each attraction allows you enough photo time, I could not recommend the trip and the company enough for a great day visiting this famous city and its landmarks.

Our tour guide Jorge was great he went above and beyond for everyone in our tour. However, our bus broke down on the way back to New York. We had to wait for an hour and half for another bus to pick us up. We were not dropped off at our pick up location. Jorge was kind enough to walk with us to make sure we were comfortable enough to return to our hotel safely. We really enjoyed our trip with everything that happened.

We were worried when we reached Times Square and no one else was there. Our guide soon introduced himself and we realised there were only 7 people on the tour. The mini bus arrived and it was brand new and very clean. Very comfortable. The guide Jorge was great. He give plenty of information then we all had a snooze for a couple of hours. When we arrived at Washington we spent long enough at each site. Lots of information and photos. All in all a great day.
