good day out although very rushed, only thing id change was at arllington national cemetary, id of rather gone to see the tomb of the unknown soldier than jfk's grave. and an hour at the smithsonion isnt enough to do it justice

For a 1-day trip this tour hit the key highlights and had the right amount of background and historical information. Makes you want to plan another trip and spend more days in the Capital city. The best part is that the museums are free to the public. It's a long day though and you're on the road very early and for quite some time driving there and coming back to Manhattan given traffic. But, if you only have a small window while in NY to visit Washington, then this would be the one for you. The tour guide Laura was very informative and helpful. I would recommend this tour.

Very good, well worth it. Guide excellent. The only thing I would say is very important, as one member of the party needed gluten free meals it was impossible to find a food outlet who could cope with this on this tour as you have no time to go searching for it. Time is scarce on the trip. However, a suggestion would be for the tour bus to offer a very basic selection of food and drink.
