This tour stops at Arlington National Cemetery which effective immediately requires the guest to present a valid photo identification upon entry. Visitors 18 years of age and older must present a valid U.S. state or federal government-issued photo identification for entry. Visitors 16 and 17 years old who do not have a U.S. state or federal government-issued photo identification may present an official school-issued photo identification for entry. Persons who are not U.S. citizens must present a valid passport or U.S. State Department-issued photo identification for entry.

What To Expect

New York City

The Washington DC tour departs New York south passing through the states of New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland before arriving at the nation's capital.

Arlington National Cemetery

Start the tour at Arlington National Cemetery and visit the Kennedy family gravesite.

Lincoln Memorial

Visit the Lincoln Memorial on the National Mall.

Korean War Veterans Memorial

Visit the Korean War Veterans Memorial on the National Mall.

Vietnam Veterans Memorial

Visit the Vietnam Veterans Memorial on the National Mall.

Jefferson Memorial

Visit the Jefferson Memorial on the National Mall.

White House

Visit the White House (on most tours). We do not go into the White House. You will see the outside.

U.S. Capitol

Pass by the US Capitol (on most tours), home of the US Senate and House of Representatives. We do not go into the Capitol.

National Mall

Part of the iconic image of Washington, the reflecting pool hosts many of the 24 million visitors a year who visit the National Mall. It is lined by walking paths and shade trees on both sides.

The weather was excellent, cold and crisp but sunshine and clear skies made the day perfect for taking pictures Only comment I would have is the services stop off for breakfast, very little choice (Starbucks, Pret A Manger or snacks) I’m sure a more suitable stop off could be found?

Definitely recommend doing this tour. The bus drivers the tour guide were awesome! The views were great. I was a little bummed out that the Capitol was going through some remodeling and couldn’t get a good picture. During our tour we had to chance to see President Biden drive past us. I saw him from a very long distance is why I didn’t attach a picture. I was a bit hesitant when the tour guide said how long it would be to get there and come back but to be honest it didn’t feel long. The bus was comfortable took a nap both ways, the ride was so smooth. Overall definitely recommend this tour to everyone.

The trip was great. A couple of things that could be improved: I couldn't find in the description that we would stop for breakfast, lunch and dinner breaks. So I packed some snacks. The other thing is that the ride was rough! I was seated over the rear wheels so that probably added to it, but it was bone-jarring. Other than that, the driver and tour guide were great and the stops were perfect!!
