This tour stops at Arlington National Cemetery which effective immediately requires the guest to present a valid photo identification upon entry. Visitors 18 years of age and older must present a valid U.S. state or federal government-issued photo identification for entry. Visitors 16 and 17 years old who do not have a U.S. state or federal government-issued photo identification may present an official school-issued photo identification for entry. Persons who are not U.S. citizens must present a valid passport or U.S. State Department-issued photo identification for entry.

What To Expect

New York City

The Washington DC tour departs New York south passing through the states of New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland before arriving at the nation's capital.

Arlington National Cemetery

Start the tour at Arlington National Cemetery and visit the Kennedy family gravesite.

Lincoln Memorial

Visit the Lincoln Memorial on the National Mall.

Korean War Veterans Memorial

Visit the Korean War Veterans Memorial on the National Mall.

Vietnam Veterans Memorial

Visit the Vietnam Veterans Memorial on the National Mall.

Jefferson Memorial

Visit the Jefferson Memorial on the National Mall.

White House

Visit the White House (on most tours). We do not go into the White House. You will see the outside.

U.S. Capitol

Pass by the US Capitol (on most tours), home of the US Senate and House of Representatives. We do not go into the Capitol.

National Mall

Part of the iconic image of Washington, the reflecting pool hosts many of the 24 million visitors a year who visit the National Mall. It is lined by walking paths and shade trees on both sides.

Visiting Washington should be near top of anyones list. Our trip, led by Marco, was educational, entertaining & moving.

I really liked the tour itself, and was very interested in visiting the places that were itemised in the tour. The tour guide was very good as well and explained in English and another language so that all participants could understand what they were experiencing. The only detraction was the driver - who fiddled with his phone and talked on it while driving very fast and one-handed; straddled lanes and was being tooted; never indicated when changing lanes; did not understand the traffic flow and cars around the vehicle and accelerated on/off and braked on/off when it was not necessary. Basically he was not a good driver for a vehicle travelling that fast carrying 14 passengers. The company must take this up with him and review whether or not he need re-training.

Highly recommend. Tour guide, Marcos, was excellent & very knowledgeable. Washington is impressive. Bus was comfortable.
