This tour stops at Arlington National Cemetery which effective immediately requires the guest to present a valid photo identification upon entry. Visitors 18 years of age and older must present a valid U.S. state or federal government-issued photo identification for entry. Visitors 16 and 17 years old who do not have a U.S. state or federal government-issued photo identification may present an official school-issued photo identification for entry. Persons who are not U.S. citizens must present a valid passport or U.S. State Department-issued photo identification for entry.

What To Expect

New York City

The Washington DC tour departs New York south passing through the states of New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland before arriving at the nation's capital.

Arlington National Cemetery

Start the tour at Arlington National Cemetery and visit the Kennedy family gravesite.

Lincoln Memorial

Visit the Lincoln Memorial on the National Mall.

Korean War Veterans Memorial

Visit the Korean War Veterans Memorial on the National Mall.

Vietnam Veterans Memorial

Visit the Vietnam Veterans Memorial on the National Mall.

Jefferson Memorial

Visit the Jefferson Memorial on the National Mall.

White House

Visit the White House (on most tours). We do not go into the White House. You will see the outside.

U.S. Capitol

Pass by the US Capitol (on most tours), home of the US Senate and House of Representatives. We do not go into the Capitol.

National Mall

Part of the iconic image of Washington, the reflecting pool hosts many of the 24 million visitors a year who visit the National Mall. It is lined by walking paths and shade trees on both sides.

We had a great day checking out the main landmarks of D.C. Our driver was good, the coach bus was comfortable with charging stations, luggage space, shared tv screens, and a bathroom. You get one pit stop each way for food & refreshments. Along the way, our tour guide, Marcos, gave us information on the procedures, itinerary, and also some historical information on where we were driving through. Once in D.C., he was also very good about giving us the historical background and always open to questions, very charming and helpful. This is a good day tour, but I didn't give it the full rating due to one reason: time constraint. Each stop is brief, where you barely have enough time to explore the site. I knew this would be the case in a group tour, but I honestly thought it would be more time. If you're okay with 15-45 minute time limits, and you're here for a short time, then you should definitely do this tour. It is a very smooth ride, informative, and carefree.

Marcos was an outstanding tour guide. Made an already great experience even better. My only suggestion is to drop maybe one of the stops so we can get a little more time to explore or visit museums.
